Overall the EDP should do better commercially as Hermes has decided to offer a more ‘centered’ and less divisive fragrance that will appeal to . And like vinegar, the metallic notes in H24 make an unlikely and irreplaceable foundation for its character. This fragrance, perhaps more than many others, NEEDS some other, more familiar notes alongside the metal smells to bring it to a place of like-ability. That’s what the woods and botanicals do here. I hope that Hermes starting to more aggressively push the whole H24 range alongside the launch of the EdP means that they're confident in launching something that is stronger and more appealing than the EdT. I find the H24 idea/DNA to be quite distinctive and strong but found the EdT to be seriously lacking in terms of being a pleasant wearing .
